Premier League: Guardiola apologises over his celebration after 2-1 win against Southampton

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has apologised for his
frenzied reaction to the club’s late winner against Southampton on Wednesday.
England striker, Raheem Sterling curled a brilliant effort home in the 96th minute to strengthen City’s grip on top spot in the Premier League.
The Citizens now lead rivals Manchester United by eight points after winning 13 of their 14 games thus far this season and drawing one.
The former Barcelona boss celebrated the goal by running onto the pitch and has apologised for allowing his emotions to run away from him.
He said, “I said ‘I apologise’ because I couldn’t control it. “I was so happy. I ran after Raheem but I was not quick enough, but we were so happy.”
