9 Ships Carrying Petroleum Products And Other Commodities Arrive Lagos Port

More ships are expected to arrive with other commodities before the year runs to an end.

Three out of nine ships waiting to berth in Lagos ports contain
petrol, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) disclosed on Thursday.

The information is contained in the daily `Shipping Position’ released by the port authority in Lagos.
29 other ships,laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods consignments are also been expected in Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports between Dec. 14 and Dec. 30.The remaining six ships were laden with diesel, bulk maize, bulk fertiliser and aviation fuel as indicated by the document.
“The expected ships are carrying buck wheat, containers, general cargoes, bulk steel products, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, crude palm olein, empty containers, diesel and aviation fuel,” NPA said.
