Champions League: Roger Federer speaks on Manchester United’s defeat to Basel


Tennis superstar, Roger Federer, has congratulated
FC Basel for beating Premier League giants, Manchester United in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Right back, Michael Lang scored the only goal of the match to give his club a deserved 1-0 win over United.
Federer on Wednesday took to his Twitter account after the match to congratulate the Switzerland club.
The 19-time grand slam champion, who is a strong supporter of Basel wrote, “Words can’t possibly describe this incredible moment for this club, wow!!!! Congrats to the team.”
Basel is second in the group ahead of third-placed, CSKA Moscow and just three points behind United.
With one more match remaining for the group stage, the Raphael Wicky’s men have the opportunity to qualify for the knockout round (rounds 16).
