APC apologizes to Nigerians over current fuel scarcity in the country.
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that the
current scarcity of petroleum products been experienced in the country is due hoarding by some stakeholders.
The party, in a tweet on Friday, blamed the fuel scarcity on the activities of some stakeholders who have created artificial scarcity by refusing to sell available product to members of the public.
It also gave assurances to Nigerians that the challenge of fuel scarcity would soon end as all relevant relevant agencies were already working on the issue.
“There’s no ‘actual scarcity’. Just some stakeholders hoarding allocated products in order to cause artificial scarcity + panic buying, for their own selfish interests,” the tweet read.
“However, it’s unaccountable, even as relevant authorities are on the matter. Any inconvenience is regretted.”
